Shafie Mustafa Biography (Executive Director)
Shafie’s love for narrative films and television series led him to produce some very eclectic television series in the last decade. From the award-winning drama Kerja Overtime to three seasons of the cultural programme, Semarak Budaya, both programmes were ratings juggernauts in Suria.
His love for production would eventually lead him to the post of Commissioning Editor for Suria. After a five-year tenure, he has decided to branch off to set up his very own production company, Shortman Films.
Mervyn Lim Biography (Marketing)
While his partner brings passion and production experience to the table; Mervyn brings to the table a marketing angle. His experience in marketing and branding spans a breadth of projects with clients including Marriott Hotel Singapore, the Singapore Promising Brand Awards & the Franchising and Licensing Awards.
His first work is Sunat, a short film about a young Malay boy and his journey to circumcision, which he produced together with M. Raihan Halim. He is the executive producer for dramas such as OKB & Projek Cerpen and produced commercials for Sensasi and Courts.
When he is not working, he looks feverishly for the latest business trends and ideas and aspires to open new businesses. |
